About Us

Our secret weapons are story, humor, and simplicity. And humor. We’re two guys who love our families, fishing, and writing (in that order, more or less). We enjoy a good nugget or two of gas-station chicken on the way to the stream. We tie. If you like our writing please follow us and tell your friends. You can see our two most recent posts on our main page, and there’s more where this came from—check out our archives and our blogroll.

Enjoyed the few posts I’ve read so far. Daniel Coleman sent me the link. I too love my family (most days), Fishing and art. Have to say I’m not a writer, nor do I write well.

I can’t tell you how much I enjoy following your blog….so I will let the “Versatile Blogger Award” say it for me. I recently nominated you for this award. Congratulations.

  3. Thanks so much for the compliment and the nomination. There are so many really great blogs out there and no one has unlimited time, so we really appreciate anyone who would choose us to hang out with us.

You know the word trout is used often in relation to unruly women in the HBO series Rome. What I mean to say is that only makes this here blog that much cooler. 🙂
